Golf Course Road Data Center
Pittsburg
Description
Residents urged the council to reconsider the approved phase one and halt phases two and three of a data center on Golf Course Road, citing water, energy, noise, health and property-value concerns; they asked for it to be placed on a future agenda.
Impact summary
If phases two and three advance, residents fear higher utility costs, health effects from noise and infrasound, and falling home values near the site and a junior high school.
